Minnie Aikens is the founder and owner of Busy as a Bee Concierge. She knows firsthand how challenging it is balancing the high-paced demands of work and home life as a wife and mother. With her passion for people, her work ethic, and generous heart, she’s created a service that helps professionals dial down the stress and turn up the fun.
Minnie has 32 years of experience working in corporate America. She spent 25 of those years in the finance department of Stroh Brewery Company (now closed), and 7 more also in the finance department of the area’s Sara Lee Corporation (now known as Hanesbrands, Inc.).
Such training helped Minnie become not only a manager of people, but an efficient manager of her time. And she uses those skills today to help professionals optimize their time to have the freedom to do more of what they love.

Minnie is a Certified Concierge Specialist, a Triangle Concierge Master’s Academy Graduate, and a member of the International Concierge and Lifestyle Management Association. She’s also a current board member of the Winston-Salem Chamber of Commerce.
When she’s not buzzing around helping clients live out their dreams, you can find her decorating, or spending time with loved ones. She’s also a movie buff. Her favorites? Light-hearted comedies and whodunit mysteries.
